Olives and vines have always been grown in the area around Lake Trasimeno.
There are many wineries open for tastings and guided tours, and the same applies to the olive mills which produce one of Italy's finest olive oil varieties.
During the summer, there are many village festivals where visitors can savour local produce still strongly linked to the local farming tradition.
